A proud native of the area, Dr. Sydney Schmitz has deep roots in the community she serves. After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, she completed her dental training at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, consistently ranked among the nation’s top programs.

Dr. Schmitz is known for her gentle touch, clear communication, and dedication to patient comfort. She takes pride in helping each person feel confident about their dental care while building relationships that last.

Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Nicholas Funyak, their golden retriever, Lola, and their families. Whether cheering on the Gators or Wolverines, or enjoying a day on the water, she finds joy in the Florida lifestyle she shares with her patients.

With more than 16 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Bryan Friedland brings a wealth of clinical knowledge, advanced training, and a patient-centered approach to providing exceptional dental care. Having spent much of his career serving patients throughout South Florida, Dr. Friedland is dedicated to building lasting relationships and helping individuals achieve healthy, beautiful, and confident smiles.

Dr. Friedland believes that exceptional dentistry begins with understanding each patient's unique needs, concerns, and goals. He enjoys the diversity of his profession and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in his patients' lives. Whether restoring oral health, enhancing a smile, or helping patients regain confidence, he finds great fulfillment in delivering personalized, comprehensive care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Dr. Friedland earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Nova Southeastern University. He further advanced his clinical training through a General Practice Residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York, where he gained extensive experience in comprehensive dental treatment and patient care.

Committed to clinical excellence and continuing education, Dr. Friedland has pursued advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and dental implantology, allowing him to provide a broad range of restorative and aesthetic treatment options. As a Certified Invisalign Provider, he also helps patients achieve straighter, healthier smiles through modern clear aligner therapy. His commitment to incorporating contemporary techniques and technology reflects his dedication to delivering high-quality, individualized care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Friedland is a devoted husband and father who enjoys spending time with his wife, Jaime, and their identical twin sons, Aiden and Ethan. An enthusiastic sports fan, he has enjoyed coaching his sons in flag football, basketball, soccer, and baseball. When he is not caring for patients or cheering from the sidelines, Dr. Friedland enjoys music and adding to his sneaker collection.
